Bugatti have expanded the car range with the Veyron Grand Sport. Their second model features a unique removable roof. This is in response to customer demand and will open a new dimension to ownership.

Removing a roof is not as simple as it may seem and extensive modifications have been made to the vehicle to keep the chassis as structurally stiff and safe as the coupe. The car has a slightly higher windscreen and the removable roof is made from transparent polycarbonate.

In addition to making the topless Veyron, Bugatti have added a new range of equipment to the interior, such as a reversing camera with 2.7in monitor in the rear view mirror and the 'Puccini' sound system with digital signal processor. Not that a sound system will be required as the Grand Sport will make hearing the fantastic 16.4 engine so much easier.

The Grand Sport will be available from March 2009 at a price of 1.4 million euros. Just 150 will be available.
